What is patent validation?
Validation means recognizing the validity of a European patent in the territory of one of the selected countries. For example, in order to obtain effective protection for an invention for which a European patent has been granted on the territory of Poland, the patent holder is required to submit a Polish translation of this patent to the Polish Patent Office within three months of the date of the EPO’s publication of the information on granting the European patent.
