JWP was one of only three companies in Poland recommended in terms of both the prosecution and litigation and transactions tables in the Polish chapter of the IAM Patent 1000.
The IAM yearly ranking is based on customer recommendations. The cited opinions define JWP as “dynamic” and “very effective in advising on patent strategy”. Moreover, the comprehensive nature of the offer was also appreciated. BioChemPharma team, led by Piotr Godlewski, European patent attorney and partner of JWP, was specially mentioned. The team effectively supports many companies and academic and research institutions, despite a great deal of work and responsibilities, ensuring timely and high quality services. Ranked among individuals with Piotr Godlewski was the supervisor of mechanical patents, Sławomir Budziński, patent attorney with over 30 years of experience, who works dynamically for companies, among others, from the automotive, electronic and telecommunications industries.
Dorota Rzążewska, managing partner of JWP and Helena Gajek, patent attorney and partner in the firm, were among the individually awarded specialists. According to the recommendation “Dorota is modern, flexible and focused on business, becoming a leader in the field of intellectual property on a still quite traditional market”. At the same time, Ms. Rzążewska is the President of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys. Debuting this year in the IAM ranking, Helena Gajek represents an innovative biotechnology company in several cases, conducted together with Piotr Godlewski.
