How I Assist Clients
I help companies to build strong and effective trademark protection, ensuring that their brands are secure, distinctive, and genuinely protected on the market.
Clients turn to me when they want the assurance that their brand protection strategy will be designed in the most optimal and efficient way possible. It is crucial for them that a trademark is properly cleared prior to filing and secured swiftly. At the same time, the early identification of potential obstacles and their effective resolution is equally important.
I combine legal precision with a strategic mindset to ensure that industrial property protection is fully aligned with long-term business objectives.
My Key Areas:
- Trademark registrability assessment and collision risk analysis
- Effective acquisition of trademark protection
- Strategic development and management of trademark portfolios
Experience and Technical Background
- I have developed and implemented a long-term global protection strategy for an extensive trademark portfolio of one of the largest entities in the Polish gaming market. I have managed and maintained this portfolio worldwide for nearly ten years, providing ongoing advice on new projects.
- I have long-standing advisory relationships with corporate clients who have trusted us for decades, including companies such as Smyk and Sarantis.
- I have successfully demonstrated acquired distinctiveness for the flagship trademark of one of the most recognisable large-format children’s retail chains in Poland before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
My Approach
When it comes to client relationships, I prioritise partnership and long-term cooperation. My professional work is guided by royalty, trust, and clear communication. I believe that effective brand protection begins with a thorough understanding of the client’s business, only then can an intellectual property strategy create real value.
I make sure that clients are informed about potential risks before they become actual problems, and that every decision is well-considered and commercially justified.
Experience and Education
I graduated from the Faculty of Law at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, subsequently completing postgraduate studies in Industrial Property Law at the University of Warsaw. I am a qualified Polish Patent and Trademark Attorney and an authorised representative before the EUIPO.
I handle filing and opposition proceedings before the Polish Patent Office, the EUIPO, and the WIPO, and provide advice on the national, EU, and international protection of trademarks and industrial designs.
Outside of Work
In my free time, I enjoy mountain hiking and staying active. This helps me to balance long hours I spend at the computer, and it gives me the energy and focus I need to be an effective leader in my daily professional life.
