How I Assist Clients
Intellectual property is a powerful tool for gaining competitive advantage. In my day-to-day work, I demonstrate to clients how they can use it effectively.
When to Contact Me
I assist entrepreneurs at every stage of intellectual property disputes, from developing litigation strategies and conducting settlement negotiations, to representing clients before industrial property offices (the Polish Patent Office and EUIPO), and intellectual property courts or administrative courts.
I also handle proceedings before the General Court of the European Union in Luxembourg. Thanks to my many years of experience, I am one of the most experienced representatives in Poland handling this type of litigation.
My Key Areas
- Handling intellectual property litigation and disputes
- Risk analysis concerning potential infringement of copyright, patents, trademarks, industrial designs, and unfair competition rules
- Negotiating IP-related agreements and settlements
- Developing strategies to protect a company’s intangible assets
My Approach
I take a project-based approach to my work. I start each collaboration by identifying the client’s business objectives, and then I present the legal options available to achieve them.
A well-designed strategy lies at the heart of everything I do.
I translate complex legal matters into business language to ensure that the law supports well-informed decision-making.
Academic Background
In my legal practice, I combine my practical experience with my academic expertise.
I hold a PhD in Law. My doctoral dissertation won the Minister of Development and Technology Award for the best academic work on intellectual property in the 20th edition of the competition organised by the Polish Patent Office.
I have been lecturing as part of the training programme for Polish patent attorney trainees for several years. I also deliver guest lectures at the Dresden University of Technology as part of its LL.M. programme in International Studies in Intellectual Property Law and Data Law.
Outside of work
In my free time, I enjoy planning and embarking on new journeys, watching James Bond movies, and reading, particularly non-fiction.
In Wrocław, you can often find me at the New Horizons Cinema or the National Forum of Music.
