How I Help My Clients

I help entrepreneurs to effectively enforce and defend their intellectual property rights in practice. I handle litigation and arbitration proceedings, including criminal cases and disputes related to intellectual property infringement. My goal is not only to win the case, but above all to protect my client’s business value and minimise their financial and reputational risk.

Experience and Background

I have gained extensive experience at the Legal Department of the European Patent Office (EPO, The Hague) and at the Cancellation Division of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO, Alicante).

Building on this background, I have successfully handled dozens of complex multi-jurisdictional disputes, effectively enforcing my clients’ rights. I am particularly proud of:

• Leading and coordinating a multi-jurisdictional trademark dispute for a Polish company at the European Union level
• Winning a case at the very first hearing, where the court fully dismissed claims based on patent infringement and unfair competition following  a multi-hour proceeding
• Resolving a nine-year dispute in favour of the client through a settlement after taking over the case from the previous counsel
• Successfully defending a registered design infringement claim despite an earlier invalidation decision by the patent office
• Effectively enforcing clients’ rights in numerous criminal proceedings, including securing exemplary damages amounting to several hundred thousand PLN

Outside of Work

In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, hiking in the mountains, and spending active time with my family. These activities help me to maintain balance and a fresh perspective when facing complex professional challenges.
