Paweł Kocańda specialises in matters related to protection of inventions in the field of mechanics and related domains. He conducts patent research and verifies validations of European patents. Moreover, he is an advisor on intellectual property protection issues and a trainer. Previously managing a Technology Transfer Centre at one of the largest Polish technical universities, he gained experience in the field of new technologies and commercialization of inventions.
He has been awarded scholarships “Top500 Innovators” (University of California, Berkeley, US), as well as under the “Innovation Brokers” programme of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Erasmus+ programme (University College Dublin and Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland).
